Bumblebees
Enrollment Open
Bumblebee students start at age 2. These young students are just entering the school environment and they are learning basic self-help and social skills. Bumblebees focus on lining up, waiting patiently for a turn, sitting at circle time, cleaning up after themselves and following directions. Each day, Bumblebees will enjoy free time to explore new friendships and develop social skills listed above. Letters and numbers are introduced and fine motor skills are developed during a daily craft time. Circle time consists of a variety of songs and finger plays that promote language development. Circle time is also a great opportunity to talk about the Bible and the love of Jesus. Indoor/outdoor recess, chapel, lunch and rest time are also scheduled into each day. A bumblebee student will need a nap mat and napping supplies each day. Diapers/pull-ups and wipes are to be supplied by the parent. See below for a list of age-specific activities.
