Dragonflies & Ladybugs
Enrollment Open
The Dragonfly and Ladybug Classes consist of children ages three and older. It's a great place to learn and play! Each day starts with a period of free play to allow children to explore new friendships and learn to share, take turns and resolve conflict under the guidance of classroom teachers. The students in this class enjoy age appropriate activities that develop social as well as educational skills. They are introduced to letter formation and sounds, name recognition, shapes, colors, numbers and counting. During craft time, students develop fine motor skills by cutting, gluing and coloring. Students also take part in a daily circle time where they sing songs, listen to stories and recite finger-plays in order to promote language development. Circle time is also a time to talk about the Bible and Jesus. Indoor/outdoor recess time, chapel time, snack and lunch are also part of each day. See below for a list of other age-specific activities.
