A Visit From Central County Fire and Rescue!

Sunshine Kids were recently visited by some awesome First Responders from Central County Fire and Rescue, Jungs Station. They talked to all of our little ones about the importance of fire safety.

Fireman Mike dressed in his uniform from toe to head, to teach the students not to fear a firefighter. Sometimes they can look scary in the big uniform with a helmet and a mask that makes them sound funny. But, firefighters want to help us and we should never be afraid.

The students were given a chance to touch the fire hoses and tools and even sit in the Captains seat!!

This is a yearly event at Sunshine Kids and it is one of the most anticipated days of the year!
